Dicksboro GAA and Camogie Club fully support an tUachtaran CLG Larry McCarthy in reinforcing this message across our club on International Womens Day today.

Following on from his óráíd at Congress last weekend, Uachtarán CLG Larry McCarthy asks clubs to share the below message with our club coaches and mentors and for our club to be part of conversations that reinforce our values and the ethos of ‘Give Respect, Get Respect.’

An tUachtarán is therefore encouraging all coaches across the Association, on the week of International Woman’s Day (Tuesday March 8th), to take ‘Just a Minute’ at your training session to ask your squad of players to demonstrate respect towards women, and to be leaders amongst their peers by calling out any disrespectful behaviour or language towards women or girls that they come across.
