Next Saturday 30th, the gates of Dicksboro will open for what promises to be one of the biggest and best club days our community has ever seen — Dicksboro’s Fittest Superstars 2026!
From the very first whistle at 9:10am right through to the Grand Final at 6:00pm, the club grounds will be buzzing with energy, colour, competition, music and incredible community spirit as 44 teams battle it out across the obstacle course in true Ireland’s Fittest Family style.
And whether you’re competing or not — this is a day for the entire Boro community 🇱🇻
🏆 Team Schedule Released
The official team schedule for the day has now been confirmed, with teams arriving every 10 minutes throughout the day as they prepare to take on the challenge.
From club legends and family teams to teachers, neighbours, parents, players and great local characters — every team brings its own personality, rivalry and determination to the event.
We’re encouraging all members and supporters to:
- Come down early
- Stay for the day
- Support the teams
- Cheer on your friends and family
- And help create an unforgettable atmosphere around the club grounds
👧🧒 Junior Fittest Superstars
One of the highlights of the day will be our Junior Fittest Superstars challenge — a fun-filled obstacle course and Hang Tough challenge for the younger members of the club.
With multiple age categories, timed runs and bonus deductions from the Hang Tough challenge, this promises to be brilliant entertainment throughout the afternoon.
There’ll be loads of fun, excitement and prizes — and we’d love to see as many young Boros stars taking part as possible 💪⭐

This is much more than a competition — it’s a full community festival day in the heart of the Boro.
Here’s what’s planned throughout the day:
- ☕ Coffee Dock open all day
- 🍳 Breakfast baps served from early morning

- 🍺 Bar open from 10am until close
- 🎶 Music and entertainment throughout the day
