Dear Business Owner/Club Supporter,
Our brilliant U15 Gaelic Football Feile panel have secured their place at the All Ireland Feile Competition this coming June after a heroic display at the County Feile competition recently.
The John West National Feile Finals takes place on the 29th June in the Oranmore Co. Galway.
Dicksboro will compete in the Division 4 Finals and will be aiming to achieve the clubs 4th All Ireland title at this level following in the footsteps of the 1994, 1996 & 2017 panels before them.
The National Feile Competitions have been in existence for over 50 years and last year, 170 clubs comprising of 4000 players participated in the finals weekend. Itβs often the first experience for our aspiring players to compete on a national level in the hope of winning their first All-Ireland medal. Key to the experience is to nurture the enthusiasm for our games and its often where friendships are embedded and memories are made.
All in Dicksboro are tremendously proud of the efforts of this panel and we want to ensure that they are well looked after in their preparations for the event and over the weekend itself. There will be a significant cost involved and we are appealing to all supporters of sport in our community to help with some fundraising. We will ensure that any business donations will be acknowledged across our social media channels in association with this team.
