Don’t let the birth certs fool you, there’s plenty left in the tank with this crew.

Captain Shane is our Club Secretary, County Board Officer, Kildare native with Kilkenny roots. Rumour has it he’s quietly aiming to match the legendary longevity of the late Ned Buggy, who held the Secretary role from 1972 to 1994. Big boots to fill but Shane is doing his best to keep the wheels turning and has the committee survival instincts to avoid all emergency committee meetings.

Eoin is currently the subject of ongoing investigations amid whispers he may be a sleeper agent from our city rivals, The Village. For now, he has been cleared to compete, though monitoring remains in place.

Matthew, a proud Wexford/Cavan hybrid, is a fearless U6 Camogie leader. He brings grit, heart and determination to the team, along with a mild but manageable county identity crisis.

Fergus is a former professional soccer player and, without question, the fittest man on the squad. He only narrowly missed out on USA ’94, with fellow Sligo man Terry Phelan getting the nod ahead of him, a selection still debated in certain circles. If there’s running involved, it’s usually his idea… and nobody is getting away lightly.

Experience. Leadership. Competitive streaks that never retired.
And just enough pace left to keep the youngsters nervous.
